It is a matter of immense pleasure that the Department of Pathology, B.R.D. Medical College, Gorakhpur, is hosting the 32nd Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM), UP Chapter - UP PATHCON 2025. We are honored to bring this prestigious academic event to the historic city of Gorakhpur, a place known for its rich spiritual heritage and academic excellence.
On this significant occasion, I extend a heartfelt welcome to the entire pathology fraternity from across the country. We believe that this conference will offer a vibrant platform for sharing knowledge, presenting research, and engaging in scientific dialogue. With a wide array of sessions, workshops, and interactive forums, UP PATHCON 2025 is set to be a celebration of learning and collaboration.

Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh is well connected by air, rail, and road:
Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport in Gorakhpur has direct flights to major cities, including Delhi. Several reputed airlines currently offer both direct and indirect flights. Some of these are Akasa Air, IndiGo. Daily flights are also available from Gorakhpur that links it to Calcutta and Delhi via Lucknow. Other commercial airports that are nearby this place are located at Varanasi and Lucknow.
Gorakhpur Junction Railway Station is a major station in the area and the headquarters of the North Eastern zone of the Indian Railways. It's connected to many cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Ahmedabad.
The main bus depot is located near Gorakhpur Junction, and several buses run to various cities in Uttar Pradesh and other states.
